Keep Rolling 

I mentioned to my friend I’d dusted off my roller-skates. I told her about how my wheels are red and not pink because I bought them in my late teens before I knew myself. I shared about how people smiled and waved as I rolled past their houses. I think I was reminding the over-50 crowd it’s never too late to have fun.

Not long after our conversation, a package arrived on my doorstep. Inside were pink wheels and an invitation to her daughter’s skate party. My husband and I went to that party last weekend. We skated every song. Turns out, joy does not have an expiration date. It just keeps rolling.

• Size 11 x 14 or under: Sealed in a cello sleeve with thick backing cardboard and mailed in a non-bend envelope.
• Size 16 x 20 and above: Wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and rolled within a tube mailer
